Mary brings to the team a strong liberal arts background combined with 20+ years of experience in education, outreach and program coordination. Her work in universities, middle schools, and local and state agencies – both domestically and in Asia – has made her adept at communicating and working with diverse audiences. In her work as an environmental educator and front line interpreter, she has been able to practice her passion of connecting citizens to their natural resources in ways that inspire and motivate them to become stewards. In addition to her environmental passions, Mary is actively involved professionally and personally in local and regional hunger relief efforts. She’s and her husband love spending time volunteering, shopping local farmers’ markets, riding bikes, and taking long walks with their rescue pup.
